Hi, my name is Micah Hirota Swabb, and in my professional career I’ve worked a variety of different jobs – here’s a quick reverse-chronology:

All of this has shaped me into the web renaissance man that I am today. It’s provided me with excellent people and writing skills. I have command of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and most importantly, an astute eye for effective branding and web site design. I’ve done search engine optimization, search engine pay-per-click advertising campaigns, and coded hundreds of email newsletters. I understand the importance of web standards, semantic mark-up, mobile phone viewable web sites, Ajax user interface elements, table-less CSS based page layouts, Flash and animated gif banner advertising, and the proper way to use Flash to accent an xhtml based web site.
